About
Bozankaya Teknoloji offers software engineering capability for electrified public transport. Our scope is embedded software, interface definition, system integration and commissioning for electric buses, trolleybuses, trams and metro systems.
Vehicle side: control software for vehicle and equipment control units (VCU, ECU) and driver display units (DDU), covering energy and thermal management, drivetrain and auxiliary control, diagnostics and on-board data acquisition. Developed under ISO 26262 functional safety practice, with UNECE R155 cybersecurity and R156 software update management.
Charging side: intelligent charging management systems (ICMS) for depot and opportunity charging, implementing OCPP 2.0.1 towards the back-office and ISO 15118 with CCS2 towards the vehicle. Timetable-aware charge scheduling, load management across a depot, and the vehicle-to-charger interface work that makes the two sides actually interoperate.
Operations side: ITCS and AVMS fleet operations platforms built on ITxPT and IBIS-IP on-board architectures, with GTFS-RT for passenger information and open data publication. Real-time fleet monitoring, schedule adherence, energy and range prediction, and passenger information systems.
Integration and commissioning: defining interfaces between subsystems supplied by different vendors, integrating them into a working vehicle or depot, and commissioning them into daily passenger service. This is where most of our engineering effort goes and where consortia most often need a partner.
What this offers a project: our systems run in fleets that are in daily service, so we can instrument a real demonstrator rather than a test bench, and contribute operational data from genuine duty cycles including vehicle signals, charging session records and fleet operation data.
We are interested in Horizon Europe consortia under the Cluster 5 mobility topics of this event, and in bilateral discussion with vehicle manufacturers, charging infrastructure suppliers, public transport operators, distribution system operators, and research organisations needing a software and integration partner.
