Turn hydrogen into heat – flameless and zero-NOx, for buildings and industrial processes up to 300 °C

Founder & Managing Director at HYTING - Hydrogen to Heat

Hamburg, Germany

About

HYTING is a deep-tech company from Wiesbaden, Germany. Our heat generators oxidise hydrogen on a catalyst – no flame, zero NOx, only water vapour. This makes hydrogen a simple, clean source of heat, especially where electrification gets expensive or hits its limits.

What we offer

  • AirSYS – heating for halls and buildings: typically covering the peak load in hybrid operation with heat pumps, waste heat or other heat generators, including fast heat-up after night setback. With a hydrogen pipeline, also as the sole heating system.

  • ProSYS – process heat up to 300 °C: hot air generated directly at the point of demand instead of centrally – no long distribution lines, no extra heat exchangers, up to 30 % more efficient across the overall system.

  • Services: feasibility concepts, support with funding applications, and planning of ventilation and hydrogen infrastructure with our partners.

Why HYTING

  • Runs on any hydrogen: Grade A (ISO 14687) is sufficient, whatever its origin – by-product hydrogen included

  • Often cheaper than decarbonising with electricity, and comparatively easy to retrofit

  • Resilience against gas supply interruptions

  • Helps you meet ESG targets – your own and your customers’

  • 1:10 modulation and Modbus interface for integration into building and process control

  • Proven in operation: our systems are already running in Markkleeberg near Leipzig, in Offenbach and soon in the Black Forest

Who we’d like to meet

  • Companies that need hall heating or process heat and have – or plan – access to hydrogen

  • Hydrogen producers, electrolyser operators and project developers looking for local offtake

  • Utilities and gas grid operators preparing hydrogen supply for their customers

  • Sales and installation partners for regions we don’t cover yet (we already work with partners in Germany, Poland and the Netherlands)

Book a meeting – we’ll gladly look at your use case together.
