Commercial cofounder

Founder at HariTerra

About

HariTerra is looking for a commercial co-founder.

Microalgae can supply Europe with pigments, protein and other high-value ingredients, but the industry stays small because the reactors are expensive to build, slow to install and produce too little biomass per square metre. Most of Europe’s natural blue colour is still imported from Asia for exactly this reason.

We are building a photobioreactor to change that. Our panels are 3D printed from bio-based polycarbonate, with integrated LED channels and sensors for real-time control of light, temperature, pH and CO2. They click together vertically and horizontally, so a plant can be installed quickly and scaled one module at a time. Our first product is phycocyanin, the natural blue pigment from Spirulina, with the protein-rich residue as a second revenue line.

We are two technical founders: a materials and chemical engineer (PhD, former Marie Curie fellow) and a mechanical and CFD engineer who leads panel design. We came through Carbon13 Berlin and have a patent pending on the reactor geometry.

What we’re looking for: someone who has sold B2B into food ingredients, biotech or climate hardware, and who wants to own customer discovery, partnerships and fundraising from the start. Experience with pre-seed or seed rounds is a strong plus.

What we offer: a co-founder role with meaningful equity, real technical depth behind you, and a problem worth solving.

If this sounds like you, send me a message and let’s talk.
