Seeking Partners for African cascade biorefineries: technology, delivery and markets
Managing Director at Grüner Bioeconomy
Cape Town, South Africa
About
Grüner is bringing together partners to develop integrated cascade biorefineries across Africa. With 15 sites identified and the first project under development in Benin, we offer an opportunity to establish technology and commercial relationships with potential application across multiple projects.
We seek:
• Processing: biomass preparation, fractionation, fermentation, product recovery, anaerobic digestion, biogas upgrading, bio-LNG, biogenic CO₂ upgrading and fertiliser recovery.
• Utilities: solar PV, BESS, heat recovery, water treatment and reuse.
• Delivery: engineering, process equipment, automation, safety, commissioning, certification, training and lifecycle support.
• Markets: shipping, bunkering, ports, storage, transport, distribution, regasification and offtake.
• Finance: strategic capital, development finance, project-preparation funding, grants, OEM-backed finance, export credit and equipment finance across the programme.
Technology partners should bring operating references, clear inputs and outputs, utility requirements, package boundaries, performance guarantees and support capabilities in Africa.
Commercial and finance partners are invited to explore routes to market and staged participation across individual projects and the wider programme.
Meet Grüner in Hamburg to define where you can contribute and agree technical exchanges, commercial discussions or operating-plant and OEM visits.
