P-Voice: AI-Powered Infant Cry Analysis for Home-Based Caregiver Support

About
P-Voice is a caregiver-operated acoustic AI system that helps parents and caregivers interpret infant cry patterns in real time at home. When a baby cries, the caregiver activates P-Voice — the system analyses the cry using CNN+BiLSTM deep learning and provides immediate guidance on the likely cause: hunger, discomfort, fatigue, or distress.
Unlike passive remote monitoring systems, P-Voice is designed as an active caregiver support tool: the parent is always in the loop, and the AI supports — not replaces — caregiver judgment. This aligns with DKV's challenge of improving newborn and infant care at home through digital solutions.
Key differentiator: all audio inference runs entirely on-device via TensorFlow Lite. No raw audio is transmitted to external servers. Privacy-preserving by architectural design — critical for sensitive infant data in home environments.
P-Voice is live on App Store and Google Play. We are seeking European clinical partners for pilot validation and Eurostars Call 11 collaboration (September 2026).
