About
The skin barrier of most people is partially damaged due to cosmetics use, dermatological treatments, UV irradiation and other types of pollution from the environment. Most of the products currently present on the market (approx. 30%) soothe and moisturize the skin, without regeneration on biological level. Even the products that help in skin regeneration usually have bigger prices, but are no fully effective, often requiring a lot of recovery time, with prominent scars left.
Our product PyroScar is aimed at being affordable, natural care for various types of wounds and tears, and is primarily aiming at Balkan market. It's active component is pyrophyllite, a natural, non-toxic clay, whose largest world deposit is located in Konjic municipality in Bosnia and Herzegovina, one of the softest inorganic materials available.
During the experimental testing, PyroScar was applied on the damaged animal skin tissue, where all artificial incisions had completely healed with regenerative skin tissue, and there was no presence of connective or scar tissue-pyrophyllite had a stimulatory effect on the process of quality skin regeneration.
Therefore, the results of our study characterize and categorize the pyrophyllite mineral as a substance that can be used in the pharmaceutical industry for the production of creams for skin regeneration and repair in humans.
