About
biodiversity assessment and habitat monitoring in marine environment (plankton diversity, community dynamics, ecologic responses) + Comparative genomics & bioinformatic (including eDNA-enabled biodiversity monitoring).
These capacities, supported by ECIMAT infrastructure (EMBRC member), could be used to develop, test and operationally validate scalable monitoring approaches based on eDNA/metabarcoding, plankton and benthic observations, automated or sensor-supported monitoring and complementary ecological indicators in coastal waters.
