HORIZON-NATURE-2027-02-01 – Invertebrate decline
Associate Professor at University of Camerino

About
We are looking to join a multidisciplinary consortium as a research partner under Area A of HORIZON-NATURE-2027-02-01, focusing on insects.
UNICAM offers complementary expertise in butterfly field ecology and the standardised assessment of soil arthropod communities using QBS-ar indicators, functional soil measurements and ecotoxicological endpoints. These approaches can help assess biological responses to land-use change, agricultural practices, pollution, habitat degradation and restoration.
Our contribution could support cross-site comparisons, the identification of sensitive indicators, and the development of early-warning and decision-support frameworks linking above- and below-ground biodiversity.
We are interested in consortia combining entomology and taxonomy with long-term datasets, population ecology, environmental modelling, remote sensing and policy expertise.
