Associate Professor at University of Thessaly
Karditsa, Greece
About
I am a veterinarian and Associate Professor at the Department of Public and One Health, University of Thessaly, Greece, with expertise in One Health, proteomics and biomarker discovery. My research integrates animal, human and environmental health through interdisciplinary and omics-based approaches.
My expertise includes:
• Proteomics and mass spectrometry-based approaches
• Biomarker discovery and validation
• Veterinary and animal health
• Zoonotic and infectious diseases
• Food safety and food quality
• Environmental health and pollution
• One Health surveillance
• Milk and veterinary proteomics
• Bioinformatics and multi-omics data integration
• AI and machine-learning applications in biological and One Health research
I am particularly interested in Horizon Europe NATURE collaborations exploring the links between biodiversity, environmental and ecosystem changes, and human and animal health within a One Health framework.
I can contribute to interdisciplinary consortia through proteomic and biomarker-based research, One Health integration, veterinary and public health expertise, environmental health perspectives, data interpretation, scientific dissemination, and training activities.
I am interested in connecting with coordinators and consortia currently developing proposals and looking for complementary expertise in One Health, proteomics, biomarkers, veterinary/public health and environmental health.
