About
Our contribution to this call focuses on the development of disruptive material solutions to enable "game-changing" renewable energy technologies. We provide the technical expertise required to bridge the gap between laboratory validation and technology demonstration (TRL 4-5).Advanced Catalyst Development: Designing and synthesizing novel, high-efficiency catalysts for solar fuels, hydrogen, methanol and solar-driven chemical processes, leveraging expertise in electrochemical interfaces to maximize energy conversion. High-Performance Energy Storage: Developing solid-state electrolytes and advanced electrode materials for next-generation storage systems, focusing on optimizing ionic transport and structural stability. Engineering material-level solutions to facilitate the integration of different renewable sources into single or hybrid energy systems, specifically addressing interface compatibility and thermal management. Applying advanced physical and chemical characterization to validate material performance in simulated operational environments, identifying and mitigating high-risk technical bottlenecks.
