Virtual Worlds & Web 4.0

About
I’m coordinating an XR testbed (currently under evaluation) exploring fine motor skills at extreme fidelity—right at the limits of human perception. The goal is a shared framework for full-body input, ultra-precise feedback, and skill-derived output quality. Think craftsmanship, not clicks. The concept is now expanding toward Web 4.0.
This opens multiple exploration paths:
-
XR + fine motor skills: remote robotics, vocational training, surgical simulation, space operations
-
Affective computing: emotional and cognitive responses shaped by precision, timing, risk, and failure—relevant for art therapy, inclusive learning, healthy ageing, and training under stress
-
Digital heritage: preserving and embodying skilled manual practices in digital form
-
Skill-driven virtual value: outcomes where quality and abundance depend on human skill, creating genuine digital scarcity—interesting for games, virtual communities, and beyond
I’m keen to exchange ideas, explore synergies, and potentially form or merge consortia. If this sparks curiosity, let’s talk.
