CENER Hydrogen Area (HyGrIn Lab) is specialized in R&D on hydrogen issues, with special emphasis on its production by electrolytic means, and ranging from the development of new materials for unitary components (cells) to the scaling, testing and integration of complete electrolytic systems (including their combination with other energy sources, as we are also experts in Energy Integration). Solid Oxyde technologies (SOEC and SOFC) are our main fields of expertise, but we are open to other electrolysis technologies.
We are specialists in SOEC technology, a high-temperature H2 production technology that can make use of waste heat (see topic-scope)
