ITA – Aragon Institute of Technology (Zaragoza, Spain) is an non-profit RTO and the project coordinator, with expertise and infrastructure for multi-physics modelling and simulation, EMS, control, and vibration testing. ITA has coordinated 4 H2020 & 9 HE projects. Its expertise is focused on Applied Research and integrates key technologies such us: Eco-sustainable and recycled materials, Materials and components recovery and recycling processes, Computational materials, Climate-neutral components, Sustainable material transformation processes, Intelligent and multifunctional materials, AI, Big Data and Cognitive systems, IoT, Blockchain and Algorithmic Business, Mechatronics and Cyber-Physical Systems, Robotics, IoT, machine learning, robotics, 3D printing, simulation, blockchain, simulation, Process optimization, design of sustainable materials and Energy sustainable electrical systems. Areas of knowledge: ITA is interested in participating in proposals as a partner in the Cluster 4 Industry. About me

Support on coordination, management and implementation of large R&D EU capital (millions of €) projects during the project life cycle stages (from idea to closure) always eager to learn new things and face new challenges.

👉 15 years of active participation in promoting practices targeted at improving the sustainable use of resources (materials and energy), reducing waste generation, and increasing energy efficiency in industrial processes.

✔ In my professional career, I have successfully attained several achievements that support my background as an engineer, researcher, and project manager in the field of energy and sustainability:

  1. Senior Project Manager and proposal writing +10 R+D+i projects at EU (EU R&D&i funding schemes: Horizon Europe, H2020, BBI, FP7) of large capital projects with total budget of 6-39M€ and 5-20 partners.

  2. Coordination, monitoring, and management of research projects (Tasks/WPs/Meetings) and multidisciplinary working teams (seniors and junior technical staff/stakeholders) according to assigned budget and timelines.

  3. Leading Sustainability Assessments (environmental, technical, economic, and social impacts) within a track record of +10 supply chain industrial clients focused on eco-design and sustainability innovative development of industrial processes. KPIs and Indicators in terms of cost, environment, and social issues of their process life cycle.

  4. Transferring knowledge / Dissemination actions at the EU and national level. In particular, related to this job offer: +60 EU project reports/engineering deliverables, +30 Project meetings with EU Commission/partners/stakeholders, +30 high impact peer-reviewed and conference papers).

  5. Developing innovative sustainability strategies to improve value chain benefits: +5 Multicriteria Holistic Decision Analysis tools applied to product value chains, based on life cycle approaches (LCA/LCC/GHG accounting scope 1 to 3).
