I graduated with a B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Hacettepe University, Türkiye, and completed a postdoctoral study at the University of Delaware, USA.
I worked as a research/teaching assistant at Hacettepe University for six years. After that, I served as a senior researcher at TÜBİTAK- for 25 years. Currently I am serving as R&D Projects Manager at Koruma Klor Alkali A.S.
I have expertise in chemical process engineering (design, control, etc.), polymer technology (suspension, emulsion, and dispersion polymerization, as well as reactive polymers), enzyme engineering (enzyme reactors and reaction systems, enzyme immobilization, enzyme fuel cells), and carbon capture and utilization (carbon capture systems, carbon conversion catalysts, and catalytic reactors/processes). I have contributed to more than 30 applied science R&D projects and have authored numerous publications, including 20 articles in SCI/SCI-E indexed journals.
