Sabancı University Integrated Manufacturing Technologies Research and Application Center (SU IMC) is one of Türkiye’s most comprehensive university-based centers for advanced manufacturing R&D. Our expertise aligns strongly with the goals of the twin transition towards sustainable and digitalised manufacturing. Key competences include:

• Additive Manufacturing (AM): Metal and polymer AM process development and optimization.

• Cold Spray Technologies: Solid-state deposition for coatings, repair, and additive processes.

• Composite Manufacturing: Thermoplastic and thermoset composite production with in-situ process monitoring.

• Digital Manufacturing: Sensor-based process control, AI-driven data analysis, digital twin applications.

• Sustainability Focus: Development of energy/resource-efficient manufacturing processes; use of recyclable and lightweight materials.
