Networking Rooms / HERITAGE-04: Culture, heritage and creative industries for health and well-being

HORIZON-CL2-2027-01-HERITAGE-04 is a Research and Innovation Action under the Culture, Creativity and Inclusive Society call, with a €16M total budget and €3.00–4.00M expected per project.

The call funds research into how cultural experiences (from heritage institutions or cultural/creative industries) can support health and well-being, aiming to produce validated, scalable evidence-based practices for use by cultural, health, educational and civil society actors. Proposals can focus freely — e.g. arts/culture as crisis-support tools, mobilizing a specific creative industry (like video games), or implementation research on adopting existing validated interventions — as long as the focus is well-justified and manageable. Projects should engage relevant stakeholders, may use pilot trials or other validation methods, and must account for the gender dimension. Links to the related 2025 HERITAGE-09 project are encouraged, and JRC involvement is optional but welcomed.
