GEM Alpine Business School

GEM Alpine Business School is a leading European business school with deep expertise in innovation, digital transformation, sustainability, entrepreneurship, and managing complex technological and societal transitions.

Through interdisciplinary research and extensive collaboration with companies, public authorities, research institutions, and innovation ecosystems, GEM contributes to European and international projects by bridging technological innovation with business, organizational, and societal challenges.

Our teams bring expertise in innovation ecosystems, business models, technology adoption, impact assessment, stakeholder engagement, behavioral and organizational change, and exploiting and disseminating research results.

We are particularly interested in joining Horizon Europe consortia where management and social science perspectives can complement scientific and technological expertise and strengthen the real-world impact of research and innovation. Our current projects focus on how digital technologies and AI reshape organizations, business models, learning and innovation processes, and on the organizational capabilities and transformations needed to translate technological advances into sustainable value.

This approach is embodied by GEM Labs, our 5,000 m² innovation and experimentation campus in Grenoble, which provides several experimental platforms, including the Biz Lab, TIM Lab, Playground, and XR Lab. Its immersive and reconfigurable environments can be used to prototype, test, and evaluate emerging digital and AI-enabled technologies in realistic settings, involving students, researchers, companies, and other external stakeholders. More than 1,600 participants take part regularly in immersive learning and experimental experiences. This infrastructure supports experimentation on human-technology interaction, user experience, consumer behaviors, new forms of collaboration, and organizational transformation.
