MindEasy
Company
PolandAbout
MindEasy sp. z o.o. is a Polish neurotechnology company working at the intersection of neuroscience, psychophysiology, human–computer interaction (HCI) and artificial intelligence. We build systems that measure a person's current neurophysiological and behavioural state and respond to it in real time – through neurofeedback, biofeedback, adaptive interfaces and immersive environments.
Our main line of development is an integrated neurofeedback and biofeedback system made of two parts:
- a proprietary EEG headband extended with biometric sensors (heart rate/HRV, electrodermal activity, skin temperature), which makes our solutions independent of third-party hardware;
- the MindEasy application, which uses biosignal analysis and AI to deliver and personalise training of concentration, self-regulation, relaxation and stress management.
The system works as a closed loop: measurement → analysis → interpretation → feedback → training → progress reporting. AI is used to analyse biosignals, adapt the level and type of feedback, personalise training scenarios and generate clear reports and recommendations for users and for the professionals who work with them. The system is being developed within an R&D project that covers the headband prototype, the app, hardware–software integration and pilot validation.
We are extending our technology into virtual reality. Our proof of concept, ReMINDer, integrates EEG neurofeedback with a VR version of EMDR therapy for post-traumatic stress: brain activity recorded during the session modulates visual and auditory stimuli in a Unity-based VR environment, and the system is designed to give the therapist session reports (published at HCist 2024). We now want to develop neuro-adaptive VR applications for psychotherapy, mental well-being and cognitive training, in which the virtual environment adjusts its intensity, pace and content to the user's state, and in which the effects can be measured objectively.
We implement the following technology along with our research experience:
- EEG/qEEG, neurofeedback and passive brain–computer interfaces (BCI);
- multimodal biosignal acquisition and synchronisation: EEG, HR/HRV, EDA, temperature, eye-tracking, facial expression, voice and movement data;
- real-time signal processing and machine learning for estimating attention, arousal, cognitive load and stress;
- adaptive interfaces, UX/HCI and user-centred design;
- VR/AR and interactive multimedia (generative graphics, sound and light controlled by biosignals, e.g. TouchDesigner, Unity);
- automation, AI and system integration;
- study design, user research and real-world validation.
Earlier adaptive systems built by our team form the technological base of MindEasy:
- Education – adaptive learning in which EEG, eye-tracking and biometrics adjust the pace, difficulty, format and breaks of a lesson, including an AI virtual tutor; our work on real-time personalisation of LLM-based learning through brain-activity analysis was published by Springer (2025);
- Attention research and neuromarketing – eye-tracking-based studies with optional EEG/EDA (e.g. time to first fixation, dwell time, revisits);
Our interdisciplinary team combines psychology, neuroscience, engineering, automation and robotics, AI, UX and creative technology.
Our business model includes B2B and B2B2C: SaaS subscriptions, sale and rental of devices, technology licensing and research services. Target users include neurofeedback and mental-health professionals, well-being and cognitive-training providers, universities and research laboratories, cultural institutions, schools and companies, as well as individual users of the app and headband.
MindEasy can lead or contribute to work packages on neuro-adaptive XR, EEG/biometric sensing, real-time adaptation engines, and the measurement and validation of the psychological and physiological effects of digital and immersive experiences.
We are looking for:
- Clinical and research partners – psychologists, psychotherapists (including EMDR therapists), psychiatrists, university hospitals – to co-design protocols and run pilots and clinical studies;
- VR/XR developers and game studios (Unity/Unreal, UX, 3D) to build and scale applications on our EEG pipeline;
- cultural and creative organisations (museums, heritage institutions, artists, studios) for projects on culture, health and well-being;
- a coordinator with Horizon Europe experience.
