Custom Technologies is an Experience Design Lab working at the intersection of experience design, behavioural science, storytelling and immersive technology.

With operations in India and a Belgian entity supporting our European activities, we work with organisations, universities, researchers and domain experts to design and develop applied experiences across healthcare and life sciences, education and training, museums and cultural heritage, and public-facing environments.

Our work includes XR and virtual environments, interactive simulations, spatial and immersive experiences, digital humans, gamification and AI-enabled experiences. Our approach starts with the audience, context and intended behavioural or learning outcome. Technology is selected only after the experience and use case have been defined.

We can contribute to European research and innovation projects through experience and UX research, behavioural strategy, concept and experience design, XR and interactive prototyping, content and storytelling, user testing, technology development and deployment.

We are particularly interested in Horizon Europe collaborations where immersive and virtual-world technologies need to move from research concepts into experiences that can be tested with real users, demonstrated in real-world settings and translated into practical applications.
