He is presently a full-time professor.
Dr. Anarım received his B.Sc. (First Class, Honours) and M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Electronic and Electrical Engineering from Boğaziçi University -Istanbul, Turkey. After spending 17 years in Turkish Air Force Army as an officer, he joined the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering of Boğaziçi University, Istanbul, Turkey, where he is presently a full-time professor. His current research interests are in the field of Mobile Communications, Image and Video Sequence Coding Signal Processing, Software Quality Measurements, Cryptology, Computer and Network Security, Watermarking.
He has published more than 250 papers carrying his name have appeared in various journals and conference proceedings. Dr. Emin Anarım is also presently an adjunct Professor of George Washington University. He has given several courses to industry and government institutions on Signal Processing and Video Coding and Secure Telecommunications.
