About
My research area focuses on the contextualization of interpreting religious sources. The religious understandings of people who are living in the MENA region is the main area of my research. I, also examined the methodology to issue applicable Islamic legal opinions and official religious institutions including the Diyanet from Turkey, Dar al-Ifta from Saudi Arabia, Fiqh Council of Nort America from America. I, additionally conduct research regarding the status of Muslim minorities who are living in Western countries. Recently emerging concept of 'wokeism' among Muslim minorities provides sufficient explanation to realize the responses of minorities towards governmental authorities. I can say that, religious movements and their interpretation of Islamic sources, and dissemination of religious information can create perfect or problematic societies by damaging social security.
