Khalil Sattar, has been in the business of poultry production since 1964. He led K&N’s to be a Harvard Business School Case and recipient of many national and international awards. He also led K&N’s to establish a poultry processing Plant in US.
My organisation
K&N’s was established by its Chief Executive, Mr Khalil Sattar in 1964, then a college student, as a sole proprietorship firm. Today, it is a family owned fully-vertically-integrated poultry enterprise. K&N’s is engaged in production activities of grandparent breeding (broiler), layer and broiler parent stock breeding, production of day-old chicks, feed milling, broiler growing, poultry processing and production of ready-to-cook & fully cooked chicken products. K&N’s integrated all poultry production activities under one umbrella to ensure food-safety and quality by managing and controlling all stages of production. K&N's is the only Pakistani enterprise to become a Harvard Business School case study. K&N’s has been a trend setter and proven to be instrumental in providing help and support in modernizing the entire poultry industry in Pakistan. Moving ahead, K&N’s has also inaugurated on 03 January 2014, a poultry value added processing Plant in Fulton, New York.
About me
Mr. Khalil Sattar, Chief Executive of K&N’s. He has been in the business of poultry production since 1964. Besides being member of many national and international organizations related to poultry industry, Mr. Khalil Sattar is the founder Chairman and currently the Patron-in-Chief of Pakistan Poultry Association. He is also the Chairman of Sectoral Council of Meat, Poultry, Fish & Seafood, Milk & Dairy Products notified by the Ministry of Commerce. He also remained Chairman of Chief Minister Punjab’s Task Force, Meat Development Sector, Chairman Punjab Agriculture and Meat Company, Director of Pakistan’s Livestock & Dairy Development Board and Member of Syndicate of University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences Lahore, Punjab.
Mr. Khalil Sattar led K&N’s to be a Harvard Business School Case Study and recipient of many national and international awards – including five gold medals, one silver and a bronze medal for Deline products in a worldwide competition held at Germany. He also led K&N’s to establish a poultry value addition processing Plant in Fulton, New York during January 2014.
