Managing Director, Kuehne + Nagel Pakistan

I am 49 years old, happily married, and a proud father of two—a 20-year-old son and an 18-year-old daughter. With over 30 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, and supply chain management, I have dedicated my career to building efficient solutions and driving growth in the global logistics industry. Currently, I serve as the Managing Director of Kuehne + Nagel Pakistan, one of the world’s leading logistics companies.

My journey began in 1994 as an Air Freight Executive at Universal Freight Systems, which was then the local agent for Kuehne + Nagel. In 1998, I officially joined Kuehne + Nagel Pakistan as a Senior Executive for Air Export/Import. Over the years, I progressed through various leadership roles, including Assistant Manager, Manager, and Senior Manager Air Freight. These early years taught me the importance of operational excellence and customer-centric service.

In 2006, I was appointed National Manager Air Freight for Pakistan, and later, General Manager for the Northern Region. During this time, I focused on optimizing processes, improving profitability, and strengthening relationships with key clients. In 2016, I took on an international assignment as Branch Manager for Sri Lanka and the Maldives. Leading operations in a different market was a rewarding experience that broadened my perspective and enhanced my ability to manage diverse teams and complex challenges.

Since January 2020, I have been serving as Managing Director for Kuehne + Nagel Pakistan. My responsibilities include overseeing the entire country organization, managing profit and loss, setting strategic goals, and ensuring compliance with global standards. I am deeply involved in market analysis, developing strategies, and building a strong sales force. My focus is on delivering high-quality services, fostering innovation, and creating a collaborative work environment. I believe that success comes from empowering people, and I take pride in mentoring and developing talent within the organization.

Throughout my career, I have worked to strengthen Pakistan’s position in the global logistics network. I am passionate about driving efficiency, embracing technology, and creating solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers. My leadership philosophy is rooted in integrity, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Outside of work, I value family time and enjoy contributing to community initiatives. Joining Rotary gives me an opportunity to serve beyond my professional role and make a positive impact on society. I look forward to collaborating with fellow Rotarians to support meaningful projects and uphold the values of service and fellowship.
