Dhabeji Special Economic Zones
About
Dhabeji Special Economic Zone is a priority industrial project of the Government of Sindh, being developed under the China Pakistan Economic Corridor framework. It is designed to drive large scale industrialization, attract foreign direct investment, and strengthen Pakistan’s export base.
The zone is strategically located near Karachi with direct access to Port Qasim, the National Highway, and major logistics corridors. This location reduces transportation costs and enables efficient movement of raw materials and finished goods for both domestic and international markets.
Dhabeji SEZ offers fully planned industrial plots supported by essential infrastructure including roads, water supply, electricity, gas connectivity, and wastewater management. The project is being developed under a public private partnership model to ensure efficient delivery and long term sustainability.
SEZMC provides end to end investor facilitation including one window support, regulatory coordination, and aftercare services. The zone targets key sectors such as manufacturing, logistics, chemicals, food processing, pharmaceuticals, and value added industries.
The objective is clear. Create a competitive industrial ecosystem that supports exports, promotes import substitution, generates employment, and positions Sindh as a leading investment destination in the region.
