Welcome to the Harmonmissions Mission Forum (Final Event)
We are delighted to welcome you to the Harmonmissions Mission Forum, the final event of the Harmonmissions project, taking place on 16–17 June 2026 in Bratislava, Slovakia at the Slovak Centre of Scientific and Technical Information (CVTI SR).
Over the course of the project, Harmonmissions has worked to harmonise the implementation of European Missions across the Danube region — bridging gaps in understanding, governance, and collaboration between countries and institutions. This final event brings together the project consortium, regional stakeholders, policymakers, researchers, and innovation actors to share results, reflect on lessons learned, and explore pathways forward.
The event is organised in a hybrid format, welcoming participants both on-site in Bratislava and online, ensuring broad accessibility across the Danube region and beyond.
Main focus
The event focuses on connecting the EU Missions-related participants from various institutions. The aim is to provide a unique place designed for these participants, introduce the actual open calls and help them create a powerful project consortium. The EU Missions 1 & 4 are offering a variety of topics currently available for submission of project applications.
1. Adaptation to Climate Change
4. 100 Climate-Neutral and Smart Cities by 2030

Harmonmissions - "bridge the gap"
The project's main objective is to harmonise the implementation of the European Missions on the Danube region level. We observe significant disparities in the level of understanding, setup, and implementation of the European Missions among European regions. The need for cooperation lies in the fact that climate change cannot be tied to a specific country. On the contrary, it transcends national borders, and therefore, there is a need to cooperate to tackle climate change.
Harmonmissions developed a specific set of three platforms which can help EU Missions' potential applicants to find all relevant information.
-
SHARED Platform - Through tools like the Project Repository, Event Calendar, and Knowledge Base, SHARED connects stakeholders to vital resources and insights, making collaboration easier and more effective in achieving climate adaptation and sustainability goals.
-
European Mission Observatory (EMO) - Search for actual funding opportunities or begin your long-term matchmaking directly on EMO.
-
Climate City Contract - Presents experiences, tips and inspiration on preparation, ecosystem creation and implementation of the CCC from cities that have already embarked or are preparing to embark on a transition path to climate neutrality.
Networking
The need for cooperation lies in the fact that climate change cannot be tied to a specific country. On the contrary, it transcends national borders, and therefore, there is a need to cooperate to tackle climate change.
The brokerage part will be all secured by the B2Match platform and its functionality. Every participant is allowed to search potential partners within the participant's database and then easily request an online 20-minute meeting. These meetings will also take place directly through the B2match platform.
We strongly recommend making sure your profile is filled in, as the validation process will be strict, and those who do not have their profile properly filled out will not be validated.
