Eindhoven University of Technology is a top 20 Horizon EU Higher Education participant with wide expertise on CL5 topics, especially on intelligence, advanced materials and electrical engineering of energy and mobility systems.

Message from prof. Maral Mahdad:

My expertise in ecosystem building and orchestration, stakeholder engagement, and business models directly supports addressing this challenge. I can help design and govern the multi-actor ecosystem (logistics operators, CPOs, grid operators, technology providers, policy makers), structure data- and value flows, and create clear roles and decision rules that enable collaboration instead of fragmentation. Through stakeholder engagement, our research can align interests, build trust around data sharing, and co-create realistic use cases with drivers, planners and operators. Finally, by developing multi-sided business models and incentive structures that monetise flexibility while safeguarding reliability and fairness, we can support the consortium in turning technical solutions—such as machine learning-based optimisation—into scalable, investable and replicable services for sustainable heavy-duty logistics.
