About
The end result of SOLARPULSE (see above) is scalable and can be leveraged to create innovative applications within the scope of this call. The current Technology Readiness Level of this solution is estimated to be between 5 and 6.
For this call, we propose extending the solution to port environments by integrating port-specific data. The models will allow the stakeholders to assess renewable energy production potential in selected areas and facilitate advanced impact analyses, including:
-
Energy cost optimization through predictive modeling
-
Carbon emission reduction assessments
-
Scenario-based comparisons of renewable vs. conventional energy systems
We aim to satisfy the below scope/outcomes of the call:
- Sustainable and digital strategies will reduce emissions of GHG, air and water pollutants and other biodiversity impacts from ports, applying innovative solutions for zero-emission and biodiversity friendly port operations and ships at berth. Strategies should be applicable to maritime and inland waterway middle-sized and small-sized ports and located throughout Europe
