IFTS is a technology transfer center which specializes in physical separation techniques (filtration, adsorption, decantation, flotation, centrifuging…), and that offers a wide range of services :
Study of fluid-particle separation processes : technical audits of existing processes, optimization of existing processes, state of the art literature on separation processes, design of new separation processes, characterization of liquids and sludges
Filter testing : integrity test, hydraulic and mechanical characteristics, separation performance measurement, characterization of membranes and granular media
Design and manufacturing of filter testing benches and of containerized pilots : CAD design, welding and assembly of the structure, electrical wiring, programming of automatic control systems, data acquisition and processing, after-sales service, maintenance
Training : membrane separation, cake filtration, thickening and dewatering of sludge…
R&D : detection and characterization of microplastics, accelerated aging of membranes, membrane separation of fish farming pond water, plant extraction by microwaves, characterization of the performance of a biosourced adsorbent material.
