Materrup produces and sells a cold activated clay low-carbon clay-based that immediatlyreduces carbon footprint and embodied energy by half. Uncalcined clay is the cornerstone of our technology as it is inherently and indisputably low-carbon. This raw material we use is abundant, sourced from waste, and employed through reuse.. Our mature and environmentally valuable patented technology is a substitute for conventional cement and covers 80% of applications.

Our partners are decarbonizing their construction sites today with ready-to-use concrete solutions for foundations, industrial slabs, bike paths, and decorative concrete finishes (broomed, exposed, bush-hammered, quartz, or terrazzo finish). MCC1© cement is also perfectly suited for the prefabrication of clay concrete elements such as mega blocks, turfstone pavers, urban furniture, permeable pavers, slabs, paving stones, and curbstones.
