Wastewater is the main vector for the spread of antibiotic-resistant bacteria, one of the greatest threats to global health in this century. Greenphage uses bacteriophages, natural predators of bacteria, to offer precision antibacterial solutions targeting the most dangerous and abundant bacteria, such as E. coli. These treatments, which are effective at low doses and leave no residue, eliminate pathogenic bacteria from wastewater at the outlet of treatment plants and at stormwater overflows, thus protecting bathing areas, shellfish production areas and rivers.
