Cluster dedicated to sustainable chemistry and materials
About
ACD Nouvelle-Aquitaine is the regional cluster for the chemistry and materials industry in Nouvelle-Aquitaine. It brings together companies, laboratories, training centres and institutions to accelerate innovation and support the ecological and industrial transitions of the sector.
The cluster plays a central role as an animator of the ecosystem, fostering exchanges, collaborations and knowledge-sharing through technical days, thematic workshops, and joint innovation projects. Its activities support companies in adapting to environmental challenges by encouraging eco-design, the use of biosourced and renewable resources, the development of recycling and recovery solutions, and the reduction of environmental impacts in industrial processes.
Relying on its operational team and a network of regional stakeholders, ACD covers strategic fields such as industrial chemistry, plastics and composites, paper and wood-based materials, and ceramics.
By promoting the expertise of its members, creating synergies between players and driving forward collaborative initiatives, ACD contributes to the emergence of sustainable solutions and strengthens the role of Nouvelle-Aquitaine as a leading region for responsible chemistry and innovative materials.
