CTP - Expertise in extractive metallurgy
About
Starting from your mineral or your wastes, CTP is able to develop a process to purify the mineral or extract valuable metals from your wastes (WEEE, contaminated sludges, etc.) or your minerals. Several techniques can be used:
-
Hydrometallurgy: Use of acid or base leaching to solubilise the valuable materials
-
Pyrometallurgy: Use of thermal treatment to remove metals, for example fuming of zinc oxide
-
Solid/liquid separation: press filters, band filters, etc.
CTP owns a laboratory to develop the processes with few kg of materials, as well as pilot facility to test the solution at pilot scale (for example using 100 kg).
A chemical laboratory tailored for inorganic element analysis is present at CTP, to support all services.
