About
TÜBİTAK MAM – Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Technologies Research Group (HYPTAG) carries out project-based R&D studies in the field of hydrogen technologies and applications. The current main areas of activity and technology development areas are given below:
1. Green hydrogen production,
2. Low temperature polymer electrolyte membrane (PEM) fuel cells,
3. Development of electrolyzer and fuel cell components,
4. Development and production of fuel cell system subcomponents (data acquisition, control, power conditioning units, humidification system)
5. System integration and prototyping of fuel cell based power applications (Microcogeneration System, Electric Vehicle, Unmanned Air Vehicle, Portable Chargers, etc.)
6. Real time data acquisition and control of electrolyzer and fuel cell systems (both in lab. demonstration and embedded system scales).
7. The use of sodium borohydride as hydrogen storage agent.
8. Digital twin solutions for fuel cells and electrolyzers.
