About

From island communities to military outposts, reliable access to clean water is essential—and often difficult to secure. As climate change, energy costs and water scarcity accelerate, the need for flexible and zero-emission desalination has never been clearer.

ExoMare is a family of decentralized and modular desalination units powered by sea wave energy.

Designed for off-grid and remote locations, ExoMare combines multiple offshore wave energy converters with a single reverse osmosis filtration system to produce high-quality drinking water – all without relying on conventional power sources.

Installed close to the shoreline at 3 meters of water depth, each wave energy converter supplies pressurized seawater directly to a land-based or floating desalination unit.

The system is scalable, with nominal production capacities ranging from 4 to 20 m³/day per unit and is engineered for long service intervals and a 20-year product lifespan. Other system capacities are available upon request.
