For five years I have led the Flow Chemistry and subsequently Automated Chemistry lab at Idorsia:
- implemented novel reactors, tested optimization software, assessed various PAT technologies for use in lab-scale flow chemistry rigs.
- state-of-the-art overview of synthesis automation landscape and Business Cases for various parts of the Design-Make-Test-Analyse cycle.
- initiated and co-led a Chemistry Digitalization Initiative, interviewed users, gathered user requirements, translated sometimes contradictory concepts into clear workflows which subsequently were transformed into specific projects.
