Space Economy for Med-BioTech. Founded in 2022 with the aim of offering high value-added services for companies and start-ups with a global vocation and to help companies approach the opportunities offered by the exploitation of research and innovation projects. The company is also specializing in assisting local authorities and regions in the design of policies to support the creation of ecosystems that foster contact between the Space and non-Space worlds. Backed by the staff's combined 30 years of experience in areas such as technology transfer, innovation projects, and institutional communication the strategic advisory activity so far has focused on the accompaniment and growth of companies in Europe (Cyprus, Italy) and the United States and their accreditation with the main stakeholders in the Space sector (e.g., ESA, ASI, EUSPA, European Commission, NASA, etc.) but also in new areas such as HPC, AI, Big Data. Darwix's competencies are also expanding and turning to Open Innovation services such as working with investment funds for technology scouting, start-ups and fundraising, education. Darwix is in the process of launching initiatives in the robotic surgery and digital health (both to be announced by Q4 2026) and looking for partners, co-funding and research centers. About me

I Started my career in late ‘90s as IT specialist between Italy, USA and India before managing EU co-funded R&D and Tech. Transf. (TT) initiatives representing public organizations (eg Italian Min. of Industry, Regional Innovation Agency, etc) and private entities focusing on interaction between Research and Industry. I designed, launched and directed the “Innovation and TT” Unit at ASI (Italian Space Agency) working on New Space Economy topics, namely start-ups, risk finance and IPR, before becoming Open Innovation advisor to the president and coordinator of the ASI OECD team. After roles as CEO and VC partner, I founded the first Space Economy advisory firm in Italy working for regional governments, private companies and startups (USA, IT, Cyprus) and I'm currently member of the board of Global Entrepreneurship Network Space (USA), advisor of Polytechnic of Milan Space Economy observatory.

External expert at NQSTI National Quantum Science and Technology Institute and mentor in business acceleration programs like EU Cassini, EUSPA Space Academy and NATO DIANA complete my assignments list. I recently finished my Research Fellowship at the Italian Institute of Technology. In the past I've been Strategy Advisor for research organisations in pediatric hemato-oncology, micro-nano fabrication, agri-food.
