Ingenieurgesellschaft für Intelligente Lösungen und Systeme mbH (short: IILS mbH) is a small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) that operates as an independent software developer and provider of innovative engineering solutions based for complex industrial products and systems based on modern model- and knowledge-based design. IILS mbH specializes in the automation of multidisciplinary engineering design processes through the use of graph-based design languages. Our mission is to drastically reduce engineering time and errors by making complex product and system design knowledge executable, transparent, and reusable across domains. With our proprietary software platform Design Cockpit 43®, we offer fully automated generation of digital product models, such as complex structural assemblies, advanced 3D cable harnesses, fluid and piping systems, simulation models for multi-physics analysis, and more. These models are generated from formalized engineering knowledge using our compiler-based approach, enabling automated product design, simulation, and optimization. Our core competencies include: Engineering process automation via executable design languages Accelerated design through automated topology and routing optimization Multidomain system integration (mechanical, electrical, thermal, fluidics, ...) AI-assisted engineering with graph-based knowledge representation Interoperability through custom interfaces (CAD, PLM, simulation tools) We work with partners from aerospace, automotive, and machinery sectors to accelerate innovation cycles and support the development from concept to production. About me

I am Managing Director at IILS mbH since 2015. IILS specializes in digital engineering automation, combining engineering expertise with advanced software solutions to streamline and automate complex design processes. Our core technology, based on graph-based design languages and the Design Cockpit 43® platform, enables the automatic generation of consistent, high-quality engineering models and supports model-based systems engineering.

We apply these technologies across multiple industries, allowing our clients to accelerate development, optimize designs, and reduce costs through automated workflows. My work focuses on software development, automated routing, and engineering automation, with a strong commitment to leveraging technology to make engineering processes more efficient, scalable, and innovative.
