Cornelia Schwizer

Cornelia Schwizer has been part of the NRW.Europa team at ZENIT GmbH in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, since 2018.

Her role focusses on supporting start-ups and SMEs on their path to internationalisation, innovation and funding. Thanks to several years in Canada and the US, she is their North America expert, working on expanding the transatlantic cooperation. In Canada, she built a funding program for SME that expanded to partnership with multiple European countries, enabling them to receive support for their international projects. Due to that experience, she has a strong background in funding advice. She is the project lead for the EEN2EIC program in the NRW region and she is part of the TG Research & Innovation. For the last year, she has joined the working group on Cascade funding, showcasing the opportunities to local companies and helping them succeed with their applications. Since she works mostly in the digital sector, she is also the liasion to the EDIH in the NRW region and coordinates the cooperation between EDIH and EEN.
