Pilot partners for AI litter monitoring
COO and Board Director at Pirika, Inc.
Tokyo
About
Pirika's Takanome uses AI to detect and count street litter from images taken by vehicle cameras or on foot, and turns them into litter maps.
We are looking for partners in Singapore and Southeast Asia to run a short paid pilot in one area.
How a pilot works
1. We survey the area before a cleaning plan, campaign or new bins are introduced
2. We survey again after the measure
3. You receive litter maps and a short report showing what changed
What you can use it for
- Deciding where and how often to clean
- Proving the impact of anti-litter measures with data
- Public reporting and budget justification
Track record
Takanome has 20+ paid deployments with governments in Japan, including the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, Shibuya, Yokohama and Kobe, and a paid contract in Lima, Peru. We have also conducted test surveys in Singapore, Vietnam and Indonesia.
