About
We are a sheep and olive farm in central Portugal with a strong focus on biodiversity, rewilding, and sustainable tourism. We are looking for a technology partner to develop an IoT and data-driven solution to improve water management across the farm, including irrigation and livestock drinking needs. This may include use cases such as informing future water retention options like a lake or helping ensure natural streams remain within their beds, while avoiding water waste and field flooding.
The objective is to leverage real-time data such as soil moisture, rainfall, water flow, and land conditions to support better day-to-day decisions and long-term planning. This includes improving irrigation efficiency, safeguarding soil health, and enhancing biodiversity outcomes over time. We are interested in low-maintenance, practical solutions that provide clear, actionable insights and can operate reliably in a rural environment, with potential to scale to similar contexts.
