Digital Traceability and Carbon Intelligence for Sustainable Vegetable Oil Supply Chains

CEO & Co-founder at BioDairy Labs

About

BioDairy Labs is an agrifood innovation company producing plant-based structured lipids that replace animal fats in confectionery, bakery, and dairy applications. Our production relies on vegetable oils sourced directly from farmers , which creates an opportunity to implement advanced sustainability and traceability systems across the supply chain.

We are looking for a Technology SME to co-develop a digital solution that ensures full transparency and sustainability monitoring of our vegetable oil sourcing network.

The project aims to develop a digital platform capable of:

• Farm-to-factory traceability of vegetable oil batches using secure digital records

• Carbon footprint monitoring across Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 emissions

• Compliance with EU sustainability regulations, including deforestation monitoring, ethical sourcing, and child labour risk assessment

• Digital sustainability reporting to support ESG documentation and regulatory compliance

• Data integration from farmers, logistics operators, and processors to enable real-time supply chain monitoring

The digital system should help agrifood companies verify responsible sourcing, measure environmental impact, and strengthen supply chain resilience.

We are seeking a Technology SME specialised in digital supply chain platforms, blockchain traceability, satellite monitoring, AI analytics, or carbon accounting tools. The ideal partner should have experience developing scalable digital solutions for agrifood sustainability, traceability, or supply chain transparency.

Together, we aim to build a digital infrastructure that supports sustainable sourcing of vegetable oils and increases transparency for food manufacturers seeking responsible plant-based ingredients.
