Cornnext-17 Corn Natural Materials for Extrusion Molding and Fibers
Executive Assistant at Corn Next

About
Corn Next develops Cornnext-17, a range of corn-starch-based materials made using only corn starch, water, and enzymes through proprietary enzymatic treatment and solid-state fermentation.
Our material range includes:
• Cornnext-17 A — for extrusion applications, including straws.
• Cornnext-17 B — for molding applications, including cutlery, spoons, and scoops.
• Cornnext-17 C — for short-fiber development and potential nonwoven applications.
We offer materials and finished-product samples for evaluation, with technical discussions to determine application suitability and processing requirements. Equipment adjustments may be needed depending on the material grade and manufacturing process.
Corn Next holds flustix LESS PLASTICS certification indicating a minimum of 99.8% plastic-free content within the certification’s scope. Further biodegradation testing and application-specific validation are ongoing.
We welcome partners interested in evaluating Cornnext-17 for short-life products, packaging components, and natural-fiber applications. Our goal is to agree on a practical trial with defined performance requirements, processing conditions, and evaluation criteria.
