SAMFOAM® – Home Compostable Foam Technology

SAMFOAM® is Samcome Eco-Tech's home compostable foam technology, developed to offer a genuine sustainable alternative to conventional EPS and EPE foams.

Unlike standard foam processes, SAMFOAM® is produced using our patented water-based foaming equipment — no chemical blowing agents are involved, and the process cannot run on standard EPS/EPE lines. This proprietary approach allows us to deliver a foam material that breaks down through home composting at end of life, reducing the long-term environmental footprint typically associated with foam packaging.

SAMFOAM® is suited to a range of applications including protective packaging, cushioning, and foodware components, offering manufacturers a drop-in sustainability upgrade without compromising on foam performance.

We provide free samples, technical data sheets (TDS) on request, and support customers through the equipment and processing transition needed to run SAMFOAM® at scale. Minimum order quantity is 5 tons, with samples shipped via FedEx/DHL from Shenzhen and commercial orders by sea.
