About
UzhNU (http://www.uzhnu.edu.ua/en/)) is a governmental public organization of higher education, which includes 20 Faculties with IT Faculty and various research units including Research Development and Educational Centre for Molecular Microbiology and Mucosal Immunology (RDEC MMMI) and Centre for collective use of scientific equipment “Laboratory of Experimental and applied physics”.
RDEC MMMI was created to accumulate intellectual research potential in the fields of personalised health, 3 P Medicine, NCD prevention, sustainable agriculture and safe food.
RDEC MMMI is a well-equipped innovative unit routinely involved in international projects (http://www.uzhnu.edu.ua/en/cat/deps-ndi_molecular/science)) on the design and implementation of innovative personalised foods (diets) for the prevention of non-communicable chronic diseases using directed modulation of human microbiome using in vitro techniques, animal studies and clinical trials.
RDEC MMMI is involved in systematic collaboration with big and small industrial agricultural and food entities, local farms, relevant ministry representatives and NGOs.
RDEC MMMI is engaged in professional international networks such as EuroFIR, EPMA, ETP “Food for Life” etc.
Within the research topic "Methods and tools of software engineering for the implementation of big data analytics processes based on the information and technology platforms of electronic science", Department of Software Systems (https://www.uzhnu.edu.ua/en/cat/fit-software) focuses on solving a number of problems, namely: development of software technologies in various areas of use for the implementation of "Industry 5.0"; solving various applications in the field of information technology, including machine learning, artificial intelligence, pattern recognition, and neural networks; development of models to increase the security of decision-making in various areas of human activity within the European Data Strategy for its implementation until 2030, in order to implement in the EU models of data and knowledge assessment for sound decision-making in business and public sector; issues of support for decision-making in fuzzy and risky conditions within the concept of the European Green Deal; methodologies for assessing process control in complex systems of operation; methodologies of hybrid models to support decision-making for the safe and sustainable development of various complex systems of operation; methodologies for integrated evaluation of start-ups and innovation projects; etc.
