Digital Healthcare Innovation Research Group PI at Kaunas University of Technology
Kaunas, Lithuania
About
We are an interdisciplinary Digital Healthcare Innovations research group focused on human-centric digital health, advancing evidence-based digital health solutions through co-creation, impact evaluation, and sustainable value appropriation. Our core competencies include:
-
Participatory research and stakeholder engagement. We design and validate digital interventions through active involvement of patients, caregivers, clinicians, and policy actors, ensuring inclusivity and relevance.
-
Patient experience and outcome assessment. We apply qualitative and quantitative methods to evaluate user needs, satisfaction, and clinical outcomes across diverse populations.
-
Remote Patient Monitoring (RMP) platform development. We build and test modular, interoperable digital platforms for real-time monitoring and support of patients in home and community settings, with a strong focus on mental health, chronic care, and youth wellbeing.
-
Technology and societal impact assessment. We assess the ethical, behavioural, clinical, and societal effects of digital innovations, using mixed-method approaches grounded in health technology assessment (HTA).
-
Digital business model design: We support sustainability and uptake through digital platforms, market analysis, and value-based healthcare models.
We are interested in joining consortia for the Horizon Europe calls listed below.
