About

1. Who we are
The Saving Kids with Cancer Foundation (SKCF) is a Polish non-profit focused on improving childhood cancer care through data, research, and systemic innovation. We are the developer and co-operator of the national Hope for children database, covering all pediatric oncology and hematology centres in Poland. We also coordinate a nationwide Data Administrators Network embedded in clinical settings. Our in-house Data Science Team supports clinical, environmental and epidemiological research and collaborates with all pediatric oncology centres across the country.

2. Our strengths
We offer:

  • Experience in coordinating clinical and patient-reported data from 16+ pediatric oncology centres

  • Design and implementation of national data platforms and cohort studies

  • Expertise in structuring datasets for longitudinal analysis and exposure tracking

  • Capacity to involve patient and clinical communities in data generation and interpretation

3. Experience in EU projects
Participation in:

  • FORCE  Fostering Oncology Research by Charities in Europe (Call: HORIZON-MISS-2024-CANCER-01)

  • YARN European Youth Cancer Network (Call: EU4H-2024-PJ-02)

4. Collaboration interest
We are interested in acting as a project partner, contributing to:

  • Data architecture, structuring & registry integration

  • Stakeholder engagement: patients, clinicians, NGOs

  • Dissemination strategies and citizen-focused communication

We seek coordinators or consortia and are open to proposal writing and early-stage concept development.

5. Contact and call to action
We are eager to contribute our national infrastructure, real-world data experience, and long-standing clinical partnerships to help uncover links between environmental exposure and cancer risk.
