University of Applied Sciences Aachen

FH Aachen is one of the strongest research universities of applied sciences in Germany. Its competencies lie primarily in the future fields of energy, mobility and life sciences as well as digitalisation and industrial production. Current research findings are directly incorporated into teaching.

In close cooperation, the university and the regional industry jointly develop products and methods that create added value directly on site. FH Aachen trains people who take on responsibility in the region's companies and who contribute to the development of the regional economy with their research-related specialist and methodological knowledge.

With more than 14,000 students, around 2,000 graduates every year, 10 faculties, about 100 degree programmes, 14 in-house and five affiliated institutes as well as four competence platforms, FH Aachen, with its two campuses in Aachen and Jülich, is one of the largest and most important universities of applied sciences in Germany. Some 240 professors and about 1,300 employees work here in teaching, research and administration.
