About me

It is known that the cost of electricity changes during the day. In each country, this change depends on the adopted legislative decisions and climatic conditions. There are periods when the cost of electricity on the market approaches zero (in European countries: 400–1100 hours per year), which is a prerequisite for long-term storage of cheap energy. Currently, electric batteries are mainly used for this, which are expensive, provide a short energy storage period, and their disposal (after use) is difficult and harmful to the environment. At the same time, a large amount of energy (up to 20%) is spent in the world on cooling - both in technological processes and for storing various goods. Most often, a temperature of +3 to +10 degrees Celsius is sufficient for this. This temperature can be provided by ice, which can be produced (using cheap energy on the market) in freezers using crystallizers developed by us. Crystallizers allow you to obtain finely dispersed ice, which is easy to accumulate in ice accumulators and transport to consumers. The cost of storage is 0.1–0.15 USD/kWh of electricity, excluding the costs of energy control and management systems, which are individual depending on the conditions of cold consumers. In addition, we propose the use of solar thermal energy storage and cold in the form of ice for further electricity production using the organic Rankine cycle (with an efficiency increase compared to the current level of at least 3-5%). Based on our research and calculations, energy-efficient projects have been developed for various sectors of the economy. We are looking for specialized partners for joint participation in grant projects.
