About me
George has been involved since 2007 in the Renewable Energy Sector. He has a track record of more than 2.500MW of PV and 500MW of Wind, Hydro and Energy Storage Systems developed and projected in different countries and challenging landscapes. The last 10 years more than 100 different Renewable Energy projects in different countries have been effectively developed and/or evaluated.
He started his career as a Production Manager in a big food company but soon he was appointed to the position of the General Manager in the engineering department of a consulting company with a great experience in Environmental and Energy Sector. He has coordinated Environmental and Energy Studies and implemented Environmental and Utility Scale Energy Projects. As CEO and CTO in Renewable Energy companies targeting in project development of energy plants, he has gone deep in Renewable Energy Sector as EPC and Project developer in different countries. George specializes in Renewable Energy Consulting, Energy Storage Consulting and Environmental Management Consulting in Europe.
Academic qualifications include a Diploma in Chemical Engineering from the Faculty of Engineering of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and a Master’s Degree In Business Administration from Solvay Brussels School, Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB). Engineering and business studies combined with his analytical way of thinking have followed him during his professional career. He holds an exceptional ability to explore and develop new ideas in a mentally challenging work environment.
