Our members are widely recognized for their expertise in crafting the finest rums. Committed to upholding the highest standards of craftsmanship and environmental sustainability, we have become the go-to choice for rum connoisseurs globally. Join us on a journey to explore the exquisite flavors and traditions of French rum-making.
Our venture, "Shipowner of Rum," set sail three years ago with a mission to revive and modernize the heritage of Saint-Malo French Rum. Under the banner of "Shipowner of Rum," we meticulously reconstructed an oceanic rum aging cellar in Saint-Malo, reminiscent of the 19th century, stocked with a curated selection of over 40 rums from prominent French distilleries. This diversity ensures a broad spectrum of flavors, offering unique and consistently smooth tastings through our artisanal production.
Our product lines include three distinct ranges of rums:
-
"Returns from the Islands" Handcrafted Blends: A harmonious blend of smoothness and subtle sweetness, offering exceptional quality at an attractive price point.
-
Finish Casks: Old French rums expertly finished in barrels previously holding Bourbon, Cognac, Peated Whiskey, Calvados, and more.
-
100% Aged in Saint-Malo: Showcasing the unique character imparted by our Saint-Malo aging process.
In addition to our remarkable rum offerings, we proudly introduce the SMS, a French and natural Spritz that strikes the perfect balance between bitterness and sweetness, with a hint of rum. Furthermore, our new range of premium cocktails is ready to serve on ice, presenting an unparalleled convenience for our discerning clientele.
Our Competitive Advantages:
-
Multi-Distillery Blends: A distinctive feature of our rums is the meticulous selection and blend of rums from various distilleries within the same bottle, providing a multitude of flavors for a unique tasting experience.
-
Dry and Cold Aging in Continental Cellars: Our rums undergo a unique aging process in dry and cold (continental) cellars in Saint-Malo, resulting in atypical and elegant profiles that set us apart.
-
Heritage Revitalization: We take pride in breathing life into the 19th-century Saint-Malo heritage, combining tradition with modernization to create a truly special offering.
Embark on a journey with Armateurs de Rhum and "Shipowner of Rum" to savor the legacy of French rum-making in a way that is both timeless and contemporary.
